Senior compliance officer (grade 5) - ref: CMA/SCO/08/2025 – 2 posts

Reporting to the Manager Compliance, the Senior Compliance Officer is responsible for guiding market intermediaries on best compliance practices by coordinating risk profiling, conducting both onsite and offsite inspections, and preparing detailed compliance and risk reports. The officer ensures that market participants adhere to the Capital Markets Act, relevant regulations, and anti-money laundering laws by working closely with compliance, risk management, and internal audit teams. In addition, the role involves researching best practices in market supervision, maintaining a comprehensive compliance database, and managing relationships with regulated entities to foster a robust internal control environment within Kenya’s capital markets.
