Manager - Customs

Ensure that all customs assignments are carried out to the highest standards in order to provide outstanding value to clients and the Firm; develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters; and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Law or Economics from a recognised institution. Master’s degree is an added advantage.

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA).

• Technical expertise in Customs and Excise matters

• Technical expertise in VAT will be an added advantage

• At least six (6) years’ post-qualification experience as a Customs and Excise advisor/consultant with at least 1 year experience in middle level management.

• Have at least three (3) years’ experience in a professional services firm client facing role.

• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.

• Excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills.

• An ability to analyse information, identify issues and prioritise them.

• Good knowledge of international and national taxation principles.
