Senior PHP Software Engineer

You will architect and develop scalable solutions for Africa's largest e-commerce platform, leading the tech stack evolution from legacy to modern architectures. You will also mentor junior developers, champion clean code, and drive technical best practices.

• 8+ years of PHP development experience

• Expert knowledge of modern frameworks (Zend Expressive, Laravel, Symfony)

• Advanced database skills (MySQL optimization, NoSQL)

• Experience with high-transaction platforms

• Proficiency in: Message queuing (Kafka)

• Proficiency in: Caching (Redis)

• Proficiency in: Microservices architecture

• Proficiency in: CI/CD pipelines

• Proficiency in: System monitoring

• Proficiency in: Git version control

• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

• Proven experience with design patterns
