Senior Lending Risk Manager

Responsible for overseeing lending risk management strategies, assessing credit risk exposure, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Involves developing risk policies, monitoring portfolio performance, and implementing risk mitigation measures to safeguard the organization's financial stability.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required

• Professional Qualifications such as: ACIB/AKIB/ CPA (K)/ACCA/ IRM/ FRR/PRM/FRM/SCR is required

• Master’s degree in business, Statistics, or Information Technology or related course

• 6 years Total Minimum of Experience Required as well as the following:

  • 6 years’ Experience in Credit and/or Credit Risk Management

  • 5 years’ Experience with Credit Policies, Governance, Processes, and Regulatory Compliance

  • 4 years’ experience in Stakeholder Management

  • 3 years’ Experience in Digital Lending and Automated Credit Decisioning

  • 4 years’ Experience in Data Analysis and Reporting    

• 3 years’ experience in People Management will be an added advantage

• 3 years’ experience in Project Management will be an added advantage
