Job Description

Responsible for implementing category strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving cost management initiatives. The role also includes overseeing supplier contracts, monitoring supplier performance, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring effective procurement processes within the assigned category.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related/Social Sciences / Supply Chain Management is Required

  • Professional Qualifications: Member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) is Required.

  • Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) will Be and Added Advantage.

  • Master’s Degree in MBA /Business Related will be an Additional Advantage

  • 4 Years Total Minimum Cumulative No of Years Experience Is Required

  • 4 years’ experience in Procurement Strategy Management (development & implementation).

  • 4 years’ experience in Procurement Category Management

  • 2 years’ experience in Logistics.

  • 3 years’ experience in Commercial Experience (Knowledge of the market, negotiations and regulatory environment).

  • 3 years’ experience in Supplier Relationship and Performance Management.
