Engineer II (Irrigation)

Job Description

The Engineer will be responsible for collecting and compiling data for irrigation schemes, mobilizing farmers for irrigation development, and identifying schemes for development. They will also implement irrigation action plans, conduct repairs and maintenance of irrigation infrastructure, and undertake preliminary investigations and feasibility studies for new irrigation schemes.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural and Bio-systems Engineering, Soil and Water Engineering, or a related field is required. The candidate must be registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and possess a certificate in computer application skills.
