Engineering Technologist I (Irrigation)

The responsibilities of this position include inspecting the development of irrigation infrastructure, collecting data for irrigation planning, organizing farmer meetings for irrigation development, and training farmers on sustainable irrigation management. The role also involves setting up demonstration plots and implementing irrigation action plans.

A Technician Part III certificate or a diploma in Irrigation, Soil and Water Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should be registered with the Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board (KETRB) or the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK). A certificate in computer application skills is necessary.
