Social Welfare Officer

The duties include mobilizing the community in identifying and managing social-economic activities, promoting welfare programs for minority groups, and collaborating with institutions and NGOs. The officer will also be responsible for preparing and facilitating meetings for vulnerable groups and ensuring their inclusion in development programs. Other responsibilities include collecting and disseminating information on vulnerable groups and monitoring the implementation of related programs.
Requirements
Applicants must be Kenyan citizens and hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, such as Social Work, Development Studies, Gender Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Mental Health, or a related field. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in social welfare work, including gender inclusivity and stakeholder engagement. A certificate in computer applications is required.
