Senior Principal Superintending Engineer (Director) - Water and Sewerage

Serves as the Director of Water and Sewerage Services, reporting to the Chief Officer - Water and Sanitation. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating technical and administrative activities related to water and sewerage systems, including setting construction standards, overseeing projects, formulating policies, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of water-related programs and projects.
Requirements
Served for a minimum period of nine (9) years and be in the grade of Senior Superintending Engineer (Water and Sewerage) Job Group ‘N’ and above
OR Served for a minimum period of twelve (12) years, three (3) of which should be at Senior Management Level in the wider public service or the Private Sector
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Water Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution
Master’s degree in Civil/Water Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution
Registered by Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Professional Engineer
Current valid annual Practicing License from the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya
Registered as a member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK)
Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks or its equivalent from a recognized institution
Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
Demonstrated general administrative ability required for direction, control and implementation of water and sewerage engineering programs and projects
