Research Analyst

Responsible for conducting in-depth research, analyzing data, and providing insights to support decision-making. Assists in developing reports, identifying trends, and presenting findings to stakeholders while ensuring data accuracy and relevance.

• M.Sc. in Natural Resource Management (NRM) or a related field relevant to International Waters is required.

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in water resource management is required.

• Familiarity with the UN System and a strong understanding of freshwater and marine issues is required.

• Understanding of Global Environment Facility (GEF) policies and project requirements is desirable.

• Demonstrated research skills and computer literacy, with experience in Excel required.

• Ability to write and communicate clearly and effectively in English is required.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills are desirable.

• Ability to work in a team and establish strong working relationships with governmental and non-governmental partners is desirable.

• Ability to take initiative when needed and work independently without tight supervision is desirable.
