Technician IV (Farm Machinery)

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and operating farm machinery and equipment. The role includes conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, assisting in practical training for students, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting research activities related to agricultural engineering and mechanization.

• Applicants must be holders of at least KCSE C- (Minus) /DIV III, and a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Mechanics, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution, and have a valid driver’s license class G. In addition, they must;

• Have at least three (3) years of relevant post-qualification work experience with at least one year of service as a technician in a higher education institution;

• Experience in operating, repairing, and maintaining farm machinery; and

• A certificate in computer proficiency.
