Night Supervisor Nurse

You will serve as a middle management supervisor covering the Nursing Department and patient care areas during night shifts. You will provide managerial and clinical leadership, assess patient care requirements, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

• Higher diploma, or Degree in nursing recognised by the Nursing Council of Kenya

• Added Advantage: Leadership and training in management

• Updated BLS/ACLS certificate

• Current annual nurse practice license issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience post registration by the Nursing Council

• 5 years experience at senior Nurse or team leader position or similar role

• Knowledge of nursing services

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information

• Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

• Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others

• Awareness of risk management issues
