Actuarial Analyst

You will support financial and regulatory reporting, including IFRS 17 valuation results, statutory filings, and capital adequacy assessments. You will also assist in pricing new life products, performing claims experience analyses, and providing actuarial inputs for budgeting and strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field

• Added Advantage: Master’s degree in actuarial management

• Progress toward actuarial qualification (minimum: 6 papers)

• Minimum 4 years’ actuarial experience, preferably in a life insurance setup

• Proficient in actuarial modelling tools (e.g. Basys, RiskIntegrity, Advanced Excel Skills, Excel VBA, Python, R, etc)

• Preferred: Familiarity with Power BI or other dashboarding tools

• Preferred: Experience in IFRS 17 valuation and reporting

• Preferred: Experience in calculating VIF, VNB and Embedded Value

• Understanding of Asset-Liability Management Process
