Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investigations and Enforcement, the Manager Enforcement is responsible for managing and conducting enforcement matters related to regulatory breaches in line with the Constitution and the applicable regulatory framework. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing enforcement programs, systems, manuals, and procedures to protect investor interests, enhance market integrity, and increase deterrence. Additionally, the Manager Enforcement coordinates processes for prosecution, defense, and administrative actions; represents the Authority in courts, tribunals, and other forums; implements capital market intelligence frameworks; engages with internal and external stakeholders; supports strategic partners for successful prosecutions; and monitors trends in regulatory breaches to inform enforcement policy and regulatory reforms while ensuring compliance with constitutional and fair hearing requirements.
Bachelors Degree in Law;
Relevant Master’s degree;
Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and member of the Law Society of Kenya;
Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, CFE, CS(K) and membership to professional bodies is added advantage;
At least six (6) years’ experience;
At least two (2) years in a supervisory position;
Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks is added advantage;
