Additionally, the role serves as a point of contact for agents, addresses queries, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Regular reporting on the status of applications and adherence to KYC and anti-money laundering standards are essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential. Knowledge of insurance principles and underwriting processes is preferred. Strong attention to detail, basic analytical skills, effective communication, time management, and teamwork are necessary. A passion for learning and developing skills in underwriting and life insurance is also important.
