You will manage the sourcing process by evaluating vendors to supply goods and services that meet the Bank’s requirements of Quality, Cost and Efficiency. This role entails raising purchase orders, follow-up and expediting deliveries, and managing Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotations (RFQ) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
Bachelor’s degree in Business Related/Social Sciences/ Supply Chain Management is required
Valid Practising License from Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) is required
Member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) is required
Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent is added advantage
Master’s Degree in MBA /Business Related will be an Additional Advantage
At least 3 years’ experience
At least 2 years’ of purchasing experience
At least 2 years of experience in customer service
At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Experience (negotiation, market analysis & knowledge)
