The role includes taking oral dictation, using e-office for data processing, operating office equipment, and attending to visitors. The individual will coordinate meetings, ensure office security, handle telephone calls, and manage petty cash. They will also maintain an up-to-date filing system and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
Applicants must be Kenyan citizens with a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of C- (minus) or better, and at least a C (plain) in English or Kiswahili. Alternatively, candidates with a Craft certificate in Secretarial Studies or Business Education certificates from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) are eligible. A certificate in computer applications is also required.
