You will formulate and review health policies, strategies, and guidelines for paediatric and child health services. You will also oversee the provision of promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative health services, and provide sub-specialized services to patients.
Served cumulatively for ten (10) years relevant work with at least five (5) years' experience in a management position or served in the grade of Medical Specialist for a minimum of three (3) years or its equivalent.
Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) from an Institution recognized by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health, or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Sub Specialization in any of the following disciplines; Adolescence Medicine, Paediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Oncology, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Peaditaric Haematology, Paediatric Nephrology, Paediatric Pulmonology, Paediatric Emergency Medicine,Paediatric Endocrinology, Child Abuse Paediatrics, Paediatrics Transplant Hepatology, Peadiatric Gastroenterology, Medical Toxicology, Child Neurology or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Registration Certificate by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Valid 2025, practicing license from Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Specialist recognition certificate from the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board.
Retention in the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council Register.
Leadership/Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
