M-pesa Africa Product Owner- Payment Remittance

You will act as the bridge between development teams and business stakeholders by defining and prioritizing the product backlog. You will ensure the development team works on stories that maximize business value for the Payment Enablers portfolio, focusing on E-commerce, cross-border payments, and the Developer Eco System.

• Ideally educated to degree level, or equivalent

• Strong understanding of digital services, smartphone app development and digital design practices

• Experience of software development lifecycle, especially within agile methodologies (e.g Scrum, SAFe)

• Experienced in leading agile feature teams

• Experienced in the use of modelling tools (JIRA, Confluence)

• Appreciation of customer led design and user experience techniques

• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience working within a multi-national team and serving customers from multiple countries
