You will assist in planning and coordinating special programmes and help formulate county disaster risk management policies. You will also participate in developing contingency plans, provide technical support for disaster risk reduction, and supervise programme officers.
Served in the grade of Principal Disaster Management Officer for a minimum period of three (3) years, or its equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Disaster Management, or related field
Masters degree in Social Sciences, Disaster Management, or related field is an added advantage
Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized Institution
Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
