You will coordinate extension activities such as field days and agricultural shows, and participate in the development of public/private initiatives. You will also prepare technical information on animal production, promote economic livestock farming, and develop livestock production programmes.
Served in the grade of Deputy Director of Livestock Production or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum period of three (3) years
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: nullAnimal Science, and Production, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Range Management, Natural Resource Management, Livestock/Agricultural Economics, Dairy Technology or Agricultural Education and Extension, from a recognized institution
Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: nullAnimal Science and Production, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Food Science and Technology, Agriculture and Home Economics, Range Management, Natural Resource Management, Livestock/Agricultural Economics, Dairy Technology, or Agricultural Extension from a recognized institution
Attended a Strategic Leadership Development Course lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution
Certificate in computer applications
