Responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, creating content, managing media relations, and ensuring effective messaging across various platforms. Provides expert advice on public relations, branding, and stakeholder engagement to enhance visibility and outreach.
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
A first-level university degree, combined with two (2) additional years of qualifying experience, may be accepted in lieu of a Master’s degree.
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in communication or journalism.
At least five (5) years of experience in communications or the media at an international level.
Experience in strategic communication for environmental projects.
Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies.
Experience in producing and managing written and multimedia content for environmental or development projects.
Experience working with the Global Environment Facility policy and/or other multilateral environmental or development funds (desirable).
Experience in managing or producing social media content (desirable).
Two (2) years or more of experience in data analytics or a related area (desirable).
