Responsible for providing expert guidance on urban development projects, land use planning, and sustainable city strategies. Assists in policy formulation, spatial analysis, and infrastructure planning to enhance urban growth and resilience.
An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field relevant to sustainable urban development is required.
A first-level university degree in combination with two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
At least 7 years of professional experience in urban planning projects and urban regeneration initiatives, working with multidisciplinary teams is required.
Knowledge of the 2030 Agenda, the New Urban Agenda, and/or UN-Habitat language is desirable.
International experience, particularly in the field of international cooperation for territorial and urban development, is desirable.
