The University Secretary

You will provide support to various University governance bodies, ensuring effective governance, record keeping, and decision-making while reporting to the Vice Chancellor. You will also organize meetings, prepare materials, and maintain confidential custody of official documents and resolutions.

• Master’s degree in Business related studies, Communications or Social Sciences

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree

• Certified Public Secretary (CPS-K)

• Valid practicing certificate from the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS), Kenya

• Advocate of the High Court of Kenya

• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience

• At least 3 years at a senior level in a similar capacity

• Proficiency in legal and administrative software tools

• Minute-taking skills

• Record-keeping skills

• Strong understanding of Kenyan corporate and educational laws
