The job involves serving as the chief academic officer and administrator of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, overseeing academic programs, curriculum development, faculty development, and student retention. Additionally, The job requires managing budgets, fundraising, and fostering relationships with alumni, donors, and external stakeholders. The role also includes ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting diversity and inclusion, and enhancing the school’s reputation through strategic leadership, scholarly activities, and community engagement.
• Ph.D. in Education, Counseling Psychology, Governance Peace and Security, or Mass Communication with at least 10 years of teaching experience.
• Proven record of successful fundraising, securing grants, and external funding.
• Evidence of scholarly publications and professional achievement at the level of Professor, Associate Professor, or Senior Lecturer.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory accreditation standards and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
