Job Description

The Head, Alumni Relations and Student Career Services is responsible for leading the alignment of the alumni association with the university’s advancement and marketing vision to foster strong, mutually beneficial relationships between alumni and the institution. This role involves developing and implementing strategies, policies, and programs to enhance alumni engagement, conducting tracer studies to analyze alumni distribution, and maintaining an up-to-date alumni database. The individual collaborates with the alumni association leadership to establish scholarships, job opportunities, and career advisory sessions for students while organizing key alumni events and initiatives. Additionally, they oversee the alumni election process, manage the establishment of global alumni chapters, and maintain active communication channels with alumni to enhance their experience. The role also focuses on career services by securing internship and job placement opportunities for students, organizing career-related events such as workshops, fairs, and entrepreneurship training, and working closely with university faculties to integrate alumni into institutional development efforts. Furthermore, they coordinate student awards, prepare departmental reports, and ensure the continuous improvement of career support services to enhance student employability and confidence in the job market.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in business/marketing or related field.
