The GLT Engineering & Maintenance Manager will lead the Engineering Department to ensure professional, cost-effective management of Capital Expenditure projects and maintenance. This role focuses on maintaining buildings, plant, and utilities for uninterrupted production, managing machine maintenance, technical training, and spare parts to achieve productivity and quality targets.
Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5+ yrs plant/engineering experience.
Project Management experience; PMP is an advantage.
Strong IT (MS Office, SAP) and factory operations knowledge.
Proven leadership, communication, and contract management skills In line with BAT Leadership Capabilities
Knowledge in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Integrated Work Systems (IWS) & associated pillars and Daily Management Systems (DMS’s).
Broad understanding of factory operations
High degree of self-motivation and discipline.
Registered with a professional body in Engineering.
Ability to take clear decisions in different and difficult situations and a high degree of innovation.
