You will architect and develop scalable solutions for Africa's largest e-commerce platform, leading the tech stack evolution from legacy to modern architectures. Your role involves driving innovation in payment systems and logistics platforms, mentoring junior developers, and championing clean code and quality practices.
8+ years of PHP development experience
Expert knowledge of modern frameworks (Zend Expressive, Laravel, Symfony)
Advanced database skills (MySQL optimization, NoSQL)
Experience with high-transaction platforms
Proficiency in: Message queuing (Kafka)
Proficiency in: Caching (Redis)
Proficiency in: Microservices architecture
Proficiency in: CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in: System monitoring
Proficiency in: Git version control
Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Proven experience with design patterns
Expertise in architectural principles
Knowledge of SOA and microservices
Understanding of scalable system design
Experience with system monitoring and optimization
Fluent English communication
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Front-end development skills
