
You will initiate policy reviews on procurement procedures, rules, and regulations, and oversee procurement activities within the department. Your role involves developing county procurement manuals, ensuring cordial supplier relationships, and preparing budgets and work plans.
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: nullPurchasing and Supply Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution
Experience of at least 7 years in procurement services, 2 of which should be at middle management level
Meets the provisions and requirements as stipulated in the SPM Act 2007
Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
Certificate in computer proficiency
Meets the provision of chapter six of the constitution
Full membership to a professional body either KISM/CIPS or both
