Job Description

The Clerical Officer II is an entry-level position in the Clerical Cadre. The officer will be deployed in the secretariat and will assist with a variety of administrative tasks. These tasks include preparing agendas and minutes, drafting letters and indent, computing leave for Board members and the Secretariat, checking general office cleaning and security of the building and equipment, photocopying and scanning documents, and maintaining records within the Board. The officer will also be responsible for collecting and maintaining statistical records.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must have at least a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a mean grade of C- (minus) or its equivalent. Additionally, applicants must have a Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

No additional documents should be attached to the application. Applications should be submitted in writing by the specified deadline of 7th January 2025. Only qualified and shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

  • Academic and Professional Certificates and transcripts

  • Current Clearances from the following bodies:

    • Kenya Revenue Authority

    • Higher Education Loans Board

    • A Registered Credit Reference Bureau

    • Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Police Clearance Certificate)

    • Self-declaration Form duly stamped by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
