The role
You will oversee the development, review and implementation of policies, strategies, regulations, plans, programmes and projects on forest conservation, ecological restoration, agroforestry and commercial forestry. You will also provide policy and strategic guidance on forestry matters, coordinate Kenya’s negotiation positions under multilateral environmental agreements, and coordinate resource mobilization and innovative financing for the forestry sector.
