The role

Job Description

You will act as the Chief Executive and Accounting Officer as well as the academic and administrative head of the University College. You will oversee resource management, programme execution, fundraising, and sustainable institutional growth.

What you need

Requirements

Professor and holder of an earned Doctorate degree or equivalent qualification from a university recognized and accredited in Kenya
Minimum 15 years of relevant administrative, academic and research experience, with at least 3 years at senior management level
Served substantively with demonstrated leadership results at least at the level of Dean or Director of a school, faculty, or institute
Leadership training from a recognized and accredited institution
Proven track record of research and publications in peer-reviewed journals, monographs, and books
Experience mentoring students at Master's and PhD levels
Demonstrated ability and experience in managing student affairs, planning, and implementing academic programmes and infrastructural growth
Demonstrated ability to network and mobilize training and research grants towards university development
Member of a professional body, where applicable
Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
