The role

Job Description

You will drive the growth and retention of corporate General Insurance business through the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) channel by developing and managing IFA relationships and achieving set annual premium targets. You will manage renewals, coordinate documentation with Underwriting, support premium collections, and provide training and customer service to IFAs and clients.

What you need

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Marketing or another relevant business-related field
Professional qualification in Insurance such as ACII, IIK or equivalent recognized insurance qualification
2–4 years' relevant experience in the insurance industry, preferably in General Insurance sales, business development or intermediary relationship management
Strong understanding of GI products, coverage, exclusions, policy terms and market practices
Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining productive relationships with IFAs to grow and retain business
Strong application of sales and business development techniques to identify opportunities and achieve premium targets
Proficiency in managing assigned corporate business, driving portfolio growth and maintaining strong retention levels
Sound application of risk assessment principles and underwriting guidelines within delegated authority
Effective negotiation and influencing skills to engage IFAs and clients and convert business opportunities
