Oversees the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance monitoring. Coordinates daily bank reconciliations, internal and external audits, and the preparation of financial and management reports. Ensures compliance with the PFM Act and Treasury guidelines while supporting strategic decision-making through cost management and financial analysis.
Served for a cumulative period of twelve (12) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been at the grade of Principal Accountant or a comparable position.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) or equivalent qualification.
Membership in ICPAK in good standing.
Leadership course lasting at least four (4) weeks.
Certificate in computer applications.
