You will teach at undergraduate and graduate levels in your area of specialization within Geography, History, Psychology, Linguistics, or Communication. You will conduct research, produce publications, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research. You are also responsible for participating in curriculum development, preparing and managing examinations, and developing learning materials.
An earned PhD or its academic equivalent from an accredited and recognized University;
At least twelve (12) research publication output points from refereed journal and two (2) points from publications in conference proceedings;
Evidence of evaluated effective teaching and/or resesearch;
Evidence of participation in conferences, seminars or workshops;
Be registered with at least one (1) professional body where applicable;
Evidence of participation in community service.
Applications should be accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of relevant academic and professional certificates, National Identity Card or Passport, testimonials, e-mail addresses, telephone contacts and any other relevant supporting documents. Only successful candidates shall be required to submit valid clearances from the following bodies: Kenya Revenue Authority; Higher Education Loans Board; Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission; Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Certificate of Good Conduct); Registered Credit Reference Bureau. You should also provide names, telephone numbers and contact addresses of three (3) referees. Applicants should request their referees to submit their confidential reports to the undersigned to be received on or before 28th October, 2025.
