
You will manage project costs from inception to completion, prepare budgets, and administer contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to legal and quality standards. You will conduct feasibility studies, prepare tender documents, and assist in contract administration including valuation and processing payments. You are also responsible for negotiating contracts, auditing completed work, and ensuring projects comply with building regulations and safety standards.
Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) or other approved equivalent qualifications recognized by KNEC with six (6) years relevant work experience preferably in a Quantity Surveying firm or Ministry of Public Works or a large organization since obtaining the HND OR:
Diploma in Quantity Surveying from KNEC or other approved equivalent qualifications recognized by KNEC with nine (9) years relevant work experience preferably in a Quantity Surveying firm or Ministry of Public Works or a large organization since obtaining the Diploma;
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C (Plain), or Division II, with credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Sciences;
Proficiency in computer applications ( Quantity Surveying packages)
