You will assist in the management and coordination of medical laboratory services and support diagnostic laboratory interventions. You will also implement laboratory policies, carry out operational research, and assist in preparing procurement plans for laboratory requirements.
A minimum period of six (6) years relevant work with at least three (3) years' experience in a supervisory position.
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
Masters of Science degree in any of the following disciplines; Medical Parasitology and Entomology, Medical Entomology, Clinical Chemistry, Haematology, Blood Transfusion Science, Medical Microbiology, Medical Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology, Clinical Cytology, Histopathology, Immunology, Epidemiology, Public Health (Epidemiology), Infectious Disease Diagnosis, Laboratory Management, Molecular Sciences or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
Registration Certificate issued by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
Valid 2025 practicing license from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
Leadership/Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications.
