You will be responsible for the formulation, implementation, and review of medical laboratory policies, standards, and guidelines. You will manage and coordinate medical laboratory services, conduct diagnostic interventions, and ensure quality assurance and control.
Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory sciences or its equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
Masters in any of the following disciplines: Parasitology; Clinical Chemistry Hematology; Blood Transfusion; Virology; Bacteriology; Histopathology; Clinical Cytology; Immunology; Mycology and Epidemiology or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
A minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work, with at least five (5) years' experience in Senior Management.
Registration Certificate issued by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
Valid 2025 practising license from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
Leadership/ Management Course or equivalent lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications.
