You will be responsible for the efficient and compliant execution of Trade Finance transactions, ensuring accuracy in Documentary Credits, Collections, and Guarantees. You will act as a key link between clients, internal stakeholders, and external counterparties to safeguard the bank's reputation and enable smooth trade flows.
First Degree in Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting, Mathematical Sciences or any other related field
Certified Trade Specialist (e.g., CDCS, CTFP, or equivalent)
3-4 years Banking experience with at least two years in Trade operations
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Understanding of principles of pricing and risk management
Practical understanding of Letters of Credit, Collections, Guarantees, Standby Credits, and Supply Chain Finance
Strong working knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, URC, URDG, and other ICC guidelines governing trade instruments
Ability to recognize Operational, Compliance, and Credit risks in transactions
Familiarity with AML/CFT requirements, sanctions screening, and local/international trade regulations
Skilled in transaction processing, reconciliation, and documentation management
Competence in Trade Finance systems and digital platforms supporting transaction workflows
